The Century CC Bed facilitates patient operation of several standard and

optional comfort and convenience features through use of low voltage finger

touch switches hospital. These switches are a momentary contact type and are

pictorially labeled to indicate their function. They are conveniently located in a

fixed position in the head section siderails of the bed. Because the head section

siderails move with the head section of the bed, the switches remain in a

constant position relative to the patient. This ensures that the patient will have

easy access to the switches at any bed position. Patient attendants can also

activate these controls from outside the bed perimeter. To avoid electric motor

damage, the low voltage switches are electronically interlocked to prevent
